White Marlin Inn - Virginia Beach

I used to be a Realtor from 1992 to 2008. I can appreciate the structure with all its run down from time and hurricanes it has seen. The construction is brick, the rooms inside are updated for function, not luxury. If you want luxury, do not book here. If you want value, this quaint old timer relic is a must. The price was low enough and the site was two blocks from the beach. It just felt like a win. Beds were so comfortable, and the room smelled so clean when we walked in. Check in felt like "they get me!". Yes its old. Its really old. And functional. And, two people on site 24/7. Yes it was loud with youth booking for their summer fun, and families with babies. You want more than a clean room and nice sleep comma like bed room with soft sheets, go somewhere else. Want to save and be in close enough to walk to where the beach vibe is, book this!

It was the cheapest. I enjoyed the top floor view my kids love seeing the water and it was right next to the water across from the boardwalk.

Tina, the receptionist, was outstanding and very hospitable. She did a walk thru of the room to make sure everything was working properly. Great personality and extremely professional.

The lady who worked the desk was simply a sweetheart!!! She walked us to our room and was just very accommodating@
